Speech and Debate Club
Our non-competitive introduction to speech and debate. Young learners discover the joy of using their voice through storytelling, expressive speaking, and performance, working toward two family showcases a year. Students also get a few chances to compete and earn awards. Most K-2 tournaments are asynchronous, making them a fun, low-pressure way to build confidence.
Where the real work begins. Students build on public speaking fundamentals and step into competitive speech and debate through a structured, progressive curriculum. From impromptu speaking to declamation to live debate rounds, every skill is taught with purpose. Age-appropriate tournaments give them a genuine competitive experience without unnecessary pressure.
Our competitive program for middle and high school students in one dynamic environment. Impromptu, declamation, and SPAR debate, all taught with competition in mind. Students gain real experience in front of judges and earn recognition through the G.O.A.T Track.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens in a typical class?
Warm-up, focused skill instruction, hands-on practice, and a debrief. Students speak every session and get real feedback so growth is steady and visible.
What skills will my child gain?
Confident public speaking, structured critical thinking, active listening, and the ability to build and defend an idea in front of an audience. These are life skills that show up in the classroom, on college applications, and in every room your child walks into.
Are your classes in-person or online?
Both. Our home base is in San Ramon, California, and we also offer online classes so families can join from anywhere.
Can we try a class before registering?
Yes. Every family is invited to a completely free trial class with zero commitment, so you can experience Forensics Forever firsthand before enrolling.
How big are your classes?
Small on purpose. Grades K-2 are capped at 12 students and older grades at 16, but the average class runs about 7. Every student gets personal attention and real speaking time.
Do you assign homework?
We may send home light, optional practice activities between sessions. Students who complete them earn G.O.A.T Track points.
Are tournaments required?
Never. Tournaments are always optional. Once students get comfortable, most of them want to compete.
What is the G.O.A.T Track?
G.O.A.T stands for Greatest of All Time. It is our achievement system where kids earn points for attendance, practice, challenges, and tournaments, then level up and get recognized.
How much time outside of class is needed?
For most students, class time alone is enough. Optional practice adds maybe 15 to 30 minutes a week for those who want to go deeper.
What grades do you serve?
Kindergarten through twelfth grade, with a program for each stage: Forensics Exploration (K-2), Elementary Speech and Debate Club (3-5), and Speech and Debate Club (6+).
